The Wedding!

THE WEDDING!
By Justice Mufti Taqi Usmani

They first met at a den of sin and vice
the meeting criteria being; was the other looking nice
Never was their criteria Deen
In fact Deen in them, couldn't be seen.

After many a lewd and very crude an interlude
the details of which, often, were very rude
they decided to tie the knot
rather than wallow and rot

Then came the engagement function
quite contrary to the Shari injunction
With free intermingling of the sexes
it, one with an iota of Imaan vexes

Suddenly the telephone, an important tool
became the plaything of these Shaytaani fools
Long before the prolonged nikah date
they behaved as if they were intimate mates

Finally came the big wedding 'do'
with them trying to be like the Jones's too!
The bride sat like a waxen puppet on the stage
much to her Lord's rage

With all and sundry viewing and even kissing the bride
isn't Jahanum for them a complimentary ride?
Do they entertain a hope of this marriage to last
when they do not hold onto Deen fast?

Judgement Day

JUDGEMENT DAY
Author unknown

For the final time the trumpet is sounded,
You awake from your grave shocked and dumbfounded,

The day will begin with Allah descending,
This is for real, it aint no pretending

Followed by angels who stand all in rows,
Judgement Day is here, and this is how it goes

The scales of justice will be brought before man,
Now you shall have to explain your whole life span

What you did in the open and what you concealed
From big to small shall today be revealed

Men in shear horror will run to one another
But no one can save you, not even your mother

You're standing there naked as the day you were born
This day would come to be, that Allah has sworn

Your deeds shall today be weighed in a scale
This shall determine if you pass or fail

Heaven and Hell shall be brought into vision
Allah alone shall make the ultimate decision

It's all up to you now, make up your mind
See Allah's greatness, and don¹t be blind

To all brothers and sisters I'd like to say
Ask for forgiveness and do that today

Don't be foolish and follow shaitaan,
He's out to strip us of our Imaan

We've lived in this world all so deluded
Finally, I hope in your prayers I am included!

Islam - A World Of Peace And Love

Islam - A World Of Love And Peace

A world where people love to smile,
And send good wishes all the while.
A world where people offer peace,
And good words from them never cease.
A world where people do not hoard,
But give to those who can't afford.
A world where people help defend,
And heal the wounds and try to mend.
A world where people share a gift,
And help the pauper's spirit lift.
A world where people feel no pride,
But live together side by side.
A world where people purify,
And always on their Lord rely.
This world, we have it in our palm.
Dear people, It Is Al - Islam

A Good Death

A GOOD DEATH
by Ahmed

My time has come quickly so
I thought I had ages left to go

My Lord constantly on my mind
My heart praising the Divine

Punctually 5 times salah I would pray
Reciting Quran I always started my day

The daily duas devotedly memorised
Each opportunity they were utilised

Showing kindness to all those I met
Prophet Muhammads (pbuh) teachings I did not forget

In this way my Imaan became strong
So Allah would save me from doing wrong

And when I did do any bad deed
I would repent sincerely with great speed

Asking Allah for a clean sheet
The Masjid my frequent retreat

Listening to the Shaykhs true advice
I acted on it without even blinking twice

Death will come to me like a nice breeze
The angels take my soul with ease

May Allah give all the Muslimeen death upon Imaan
Ameen

A Bad Death

A BAD DEATH
by Ahmed

My time has come quickly so
I thought I had ages left to go

I liked to look slick
Flirting gave me the ‘kick’

Out I went to just chill
With my mates for that buzz and thrill

But along with them little I did know
That from Islam I was distancing myself slow

Like this my Imaan did fade
In sins I began to wade

Death has come around for us
Now I want to catch the Islam bus

Sadly it is too late
I am to suffer the worst fate

Death will come to me with pain
The Shaykhs past warnings in vain

I should have taken heed
And without delay started amassing many good deed

My friends take this poem not lightly
Now is the time to take up Islam fully

May Allah save all the Muslimeen from the pains of death
Ameen

I Asked For Strength

I asked for Strength.........And Allah gave me Difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom.........And Allah gave me Problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity.........And Allah gave me Brain and Brawn to work.
I asked for Courage.........And Allah gave me Danger to overcome. I asked for Love..........And Allah gave me Troubled people to help.
I asked for Favors.........And Allah gave me Opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted ........I received everything I needed!

Ahad Ahad

Why shed these tears of sorrow?
Why shed these tears of grief?
Ya nafsy how soon you forget,
After trials come sweet relief

Why turn you from Ar-Rahman?
Why yearn for a listening friend?
Ya nafsy, do you not remember,
On ALLAH (SWT), you must depend?

Have you not read those stories,
Of the trials in days gone by,
Of the Sahabi beloved by ALLAH (SWT),
Who for ALLAH (SWT)’s cause did strive?

Why loosen your hold upon him?
Why fling away, His outstretched Hand?
Ya nafsy, do you not remember,
Bilal's Sabr on the blazing sand?

"Ahad! Ahad!" He cried,
While his flesh did drip and burn.
"Ahad! Ahad!" He cried,
To ALLAH (SWT) alone he turned.

Have you forgotten the firmness of Hamza,
As the gleaming swords did fall?
With Sabr he turned to ALLAH (SWT),
As the Quraish did slice and maul.

Why drown in salty tear drops?
How can you dare compare your pain?
To that of Yasir and Summayah,
As they lay tortured on the scorching plain?

Have you forgotten the charring of Khabbab,
As on burning coals he lay?
Ya nafsy how meagre your suffering,
Wherefore do you lose your way?
Why befriend you not Al-Wali?
Why not in Salat to Him complain?
Like Job who only to Allah,
Turned in all his grief and pain?
Forget you that trials in this life,
Cleanse your heart and make it clean?
Ya nafsy, why all this sadness?
Do you not wish your heart to gleam?

Be patient in all your hardships,
ALLAH (SWT) hears your cries of woe.
So trust Him and His Hikma,
For He knows best and not you.

So tighten your hold upon him,
Lest He withdraw His outstretched Hand!
And remember the example of Bilal,
As he lay anchored on the blazing sand.

"Ahad! Ahad!" he cried,
While his flesh did drip and burn.
"Ahad! Ahad!" he cried,
To ALLAH (SWT) alone he turned.

Hijab

HIJAB
A very good poem for the sisters to ponder over :)

What do you see when you look at me
Do you see someone limited, or someone free
All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair

Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated
They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'

Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused
They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice

They think that the hood makes me look caged
That my husband or dad are totally outraged
All they can do is look at me in fear
And in my eye there is a tear

Not because I have been stared at or made fun of
But because people are ignoring the one up above
On the day of judgment they will be the fools
Because they were too ashamed to play by their own rules

Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty
See I have declined from being a guy's toy
Because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy

Real men are able to appreciate my mind
And aren't busy looking at my behind
The smart ones are attracted by my tranquility
In the back of their mind they wish they were me

We have the strength to do what we think is right
Even if it means putting up a life long fight
So when people ask you how you feel about that hood
Just sum it up by saying 'baby its all good'

The Ultimate Computer Virus

THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER VIRUS

Shaitaan held a meeting one day,
Furious as he watched the muslims in Ramadan pray,
And he spoke at length of his ancient plans and dreams,
And shouted long and hard emitting screams.

If they go on at this rate,
They’ll all enter Paradise through Rayyan’s gate,
But I promised to lead the children of Aadam astray,
This Ramadan thing’s clearly not going my way

So one of his chained jinns looked up from the devilish herds,
And said if ye bid me sire to say some words,
I have just the plan to fool the muslim ummah,
And seduce them away from that place called Jannah

Pray tell, my devilish companion…..Please
We must lower those muslims by degrees,
For their good deeds have become vast like the seas,
I’m going to lose my reputation as Iblees!

Microchips –Its called the internet
Its an idea you gotta hear-you won’t regret,
I’ve thought long and hard about this one,
And boy,Oh boy…is this some fun.

At the touch of a keyboard they have an Islamic forum,
Where they think they’re increasing their imaan with much decorum,
And they log on and click with their mouse,
Not realising they’ve entered a room from shaitaan’s house.

We’ll teach them to backbite, argue and fight,
They’ll leave reciting the Quran and lose their heavenly light,
Sufis verus salafis and vice versa,
All at the click of a mouse and cursor.

At the touch of a button they can curse the scholars,
Nowadays a laptop costs just a few hundred dollars,
And they’ll type bad words about Ibn Arabi and Ibn Taymeeyah,
Without any knowledge of the sciences of the Shariah

Non-Mahrems can interact on chatrooms from Pakistan to France,
What began as da’wah often ends up in Romance,
Tahajjud prayers go out of the window,
The troops of hell will just grow and grow

We’ll drown them in information overload,
Hell will be waiting; their final abode,
Lost in useless bits, bytes and endless sights
Ghaflah,Ghaflah- They’ll waste their nights

Instead of using tasbeehs for performing dhikr
We’ll create nonsensical arguments and make them bicker,
And brother against brother shall live in divide,
Through endless debates we’ll inject poison inside

As for the very sinful, there’ll be pornography
And music dancing and much debauchery,
Who can resist those pop-up windows?
Can you see ,master, muslims entering hell in their throes?

The ultimate computer virus is called shaitaan,
That Trojan horse will snatch away your precious imaan,
He’s an evil whizz who has lots of experience
His aim in life is to take your soul to decadence

Oh Slave of Allah(swt) be not so sordid,
Your internet access is being tapped and recorded
By the noble angels on your shoulders that accompany you,
You might escape human cameras but you can’t escape Allah’s view

Say a’oodhubillah, And don’t waste your time
Spend each moment in dhikr of the divine,
Use technology to please the Lord of Creation
Avoid trivial pursuits and satanic temptation

EID MUBARAK!!

EID MUBARAK!!

I Love Eid

It is Eid today! It is Eid today!
I can see the tiny new moon
Up there, in the heavenly sky,
Surrounded by beautiful twinkling stars!
Heralding the happy coming of Eid,
It is Eid today!
Thank you, Almighty Allah!
For giving us so much happiness,
For the moon and the stars
And everything we have,
The glad tidings of the season
That reminds us of your Greatness,
The acts of purification we undergo
To show you our loyalty,
The prayers we say
To seek from you Blessings
On this occasion of Eid,
Which brings so much joy.
It is Eid Today!
