In the darkness of the night, I stand before you a sinful slave,
The flowing tears upon my face I feel, only Allah you can save,
The footsteps of an ant you hear, my cry is loud, I am sincere,
I wrong you not but my soul, we shall meet soon, I am in fear,
Free from all love but yours, make my heart clean and pure,
Shackles of sin are hard to break, with your help I can endure,
Prostration and in awe, I accept my every sin, how can I deny,
In your limitless mercy and forgiveness, sinners like me rely,
Ar Rahman, Ar Raheem, the joys of my heart I cannot conceal,
I long to meet I do not fear, an ecstasy, I wish you could feel.
